| Cruiser comes to us from Kissamekoons, a cattery located in Kissammee, FL. I first met him at four months old when I took Cricket to the breeder to mate her for the first time. The mating was unsuccessful but again, I fell in love with Tips, aka Cruiser. He was all ears and so sweet. I just walked up to him and he agreed to be my cat. Cherryl, I told you she was my best friend, talked about him the whole way home. The next week found us back at the breeder buying him, together. He is the prototype for the Maine Coon cat. He is a brown tabby with beautiful markings. He is so sweet that he lets the girls, Cricket and Chloe, beat up on him on a regular basis even though he is twice their size. He is 13 months old at this time and weighs in at 20 pounds and is not done growing. Cruiser follows me from room to room and sits next to me on the couch and right now is sitting on the desk waiting for me to pet him. Love comes in all sizes and he is 20 pounds of love. He is also the funny one of the bunch. He doesn't purr he HUFFS, a lot. He also doesn't really meow, he has a soft inside-type voice as if he doesn't want to bother you but he has a lot to say. In my mind, he is a keeper. You only have to meet him to love him. Enjoy the pictures. |
